Muppet Show Staffel 1

Muppet Show DVD-Petition

Also, hingehen, unterschreiben, weitersagen, hoffen.

__________

This time it´s not about building puppets - and for most of my foreign readers it may seem akward:

In Germany, where there are many Muppet-Show-fans, we´re still waiting for "Muppet Show - Season 1" to be published. And it doesn´t look that good. Since middle of 2005 we´re told that there will be Muppet-Show on DVD but the publishing dates keep being pushed back.
So now there´s an Online Petition:

Muppet Show DVD-Petition

If you´d like to support us - sign it. Or tell all your friends in Germany to do so.

And for the question, why we don´t order it from the UK: Yes, that would be possible. But we were raised with a really good dubbed version with great voices. It would be nice, to have the original and the dubbed version. ... And then - we have to raise our children with this piece of excellent television ;-)!

PlastiDip in Germany - Update

Hallo zusammen!

Anwendungsbeispiele siehe Plastidip-Webseite.

In diesem Sinne,
Tom

Hi there!

Okay, here´s some maybe useful information:
In his Swazzle-Blog (Puppet 101) Sean Johnson has some very useful tutorials on puppet-building. For example he explains how to build very useful hand-rods here.
To get a good and comfortable grip on those hand-rods he uses PlastiDip. And now for the good news to all german puppetbuilders:
You can get it over here in good ol´Germany at Benedict Messtechnik for a reasonable price.

UPDATE:
Now there´s a special german Plastidip-website: PLASTIDIP.

And here is my opinion about using Plastidip: It´s simply great for a good grip on the hand-rods!

So long,
take care,
Tom

Project started

Okay, let´s give it a try.
Although I´m always lacking spare time, I will be trying to gather useful information on this side about building moving-mouth puppets from foam.

Best wishes so far,
Tom
